Beeswax Candles

The candle of choice by royalty and nobility for centuries because of their sweet smell and warm glow, beeswax candles are considered the cleanest, brightest, and longest-burning candles.

Beeswax candles are not chemically processed and emit negative ions when burned or diffused. They are scientifically proven to clean your air of dust, mold, pollen, pet dander, smoke, odours and even bacteria and viruses. Beeswax has a higher melting point than other waxes, emitting a brighter, warmer glow and because they are so dense they burn more slowly and drip less. Because of their air cleansing properties, beeswax candles are a great candle option for people with allergies, asthma, sinuses and sensitivities.

Most candles today are made of paraffin wax which creates highly toxic benzene and toluene when burned (both are known carcinogens). In fact, the toxins released from paraffin candles are the same as those found in diesel fuel fumes and are linked to asthma and lung cancer.
